Keith Betts is the Chief Executive Officer of Newhaven Trust Company (Channel Islands) Limited and was previously Managing Director CIBC Bank and Trust Company (CI) Limited 1985-2001. He is an Associate, Chartered Institute of Bankers and STEP member; past Chairman Guernsey International Bankers Association; and was "Substantially recommended" trustee and fiduciary professional per 2006 Citywealth Channel Islands and Isle of Man Top 100 survey. He has over 30 years relevant experience and has broad experience of working with private and corporate clients. Directorships include investment management companies, collective investment schemes and captive insurance as well as those relating to private clients.
Paul Hodgson is the Managing Director of Butterfield Trust (Guernsey) Limited and has been a director of RCIL since 2003. He is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Securities Institute. He has been involved in the management of private clients' affairs since 1998 when he moved to Guernsey. He was previously with KPMG for 10 years, during which time he practised in their Receivership and Corporate Turnaround groups in Australia, London and Hong Kong.
Jonathan Ruffer is the Chief Executive of Ruffer LLP. He trained as a stockbroker and barrister before moving into private client investment management in 1980, with Dunbar Fund Managers. He was formerly Chief Investment Officer of Rathbone Bros plc, and in 2001 became an independent non-executive director of Electrical & General Investment Trust PLC. He established Ruffer Investment Management Ltd in 1994, which transferred its investment business to Ruffer LLP in 2004.
